Open Position for SUSA Trustee

Sperry Utility Services Authority has an opening for one "at-large" position to serve on the Board of Trustees, for a three (3) year term of office.  This appointee is not required to live within the Town limits of Sperry, but must be a Sperry Utility Services Authority customer.  There is no salary, as it is a volunteer position.  Although not required, it would be very beneficial for the applicant to have a working knowledge of water, sewer and gas utility services.  The regular meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month.  However, there are times when special meetings are called to deal with issues that arise between regular meetings. 

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Trustees, we invite you to the meeting this Thursday, August 10, to see the board in action and become familiar with procedures.  All interested parties should send a letter of intent and interest, as to why you wish to serve, to Mayor Debra Burch at dburch@sperryok.gov.  Applications will be accepted through September 1, 2023.
